Client Sales Representative
Capacity is seeking an engaged, self-motivated logistics brokerage sales representative that thrives in a start-up environment. As our company grows, this person will be integral to bridging client requests and best practices with the technology development team to create transportation solutions that make all aspects of logistics brokering more seamless. Sales representatives will be equipped and ready to land new business for the organization through building on an already established sales portfolio of clients. They will be responsible for the full sales cycle: prospecting, relationship building and maintenance, customer service and operations.
Responsibilities
- Take a proactive approach in learning the importance of each task and how it affects the entire sales/procurement process
- Perform all tasks to support their existing accounts
- Manage operational activities of loads to ensure customer satisfaction
- Help drive new account growth via prospecting, sourcing and account penetration
- Strengthen sales techniques
- Develop and maintain new relationships, both within the company and externally
- Actively participate in company-wide brainstorming and development sessions
Requirements
- Ability to always treat others as you want to be treated yourself

- A desire to be an integral part of a company from the ground-up
- 2-5 years of industry or commensurate sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent communications skills, including comfort speaking on the phone, working within a group and strong writing abilities

- A self-motivated work ethic
- Strong decision-making ability
